The Mckeown Group of Companies has donated items worth GH900.00 to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) police station to enhance its work. The items included two sets of computers and a printer. The Chief Executive Officer of McKeown Group of Companies, Elder Dr. Kwaku Adu-Aninkorah who presented the items, said the presentation was made upon an informal request made by J.N Atideku, Assistant Superintendent of Police in charge of traffic management at the Motor Traffic and Transport Unit (MTTU) of KNUST police. He said he intends supplying Oforikrom and Asokwa police stations in Kumasu with similar items as well as providing them with Internet facility. Dr. Adu-Aninkorah called on all individuals to support and resource the Police Service as they work to curb indiscipline in society. Deputy Superintendent of Police, N. Opare Ofosu-hene of the Ayigya Zongo Divisional Police Command -- who received the items on behalf of the Police Service, thanked the McKeon Group of Companies for the gesture. We are very happy for what you have done today, because not everyone can do something like this. The police service is doing a lot of work but is limited in resources, and as such we welcome such presentations, he added.
