NDC Undermining NPPs Achievements In Northern Ghana - Kufuor

A former President of Ghana, John Agyekum Kufuor, has lamented what he termed the propaganda of the ruling NDC government, which has tried to belittle all developments undertaken by his government in the three Northern regions. According to Mr. Kufuor, his government helped in developing the three Northern regions in areas such as education, social amenities and infrastructure all of which have been sidelined by the current government. In an interaction with members of the Northern Youth for Peace and Development, ex-President Kufuor noted that there is no need disputing what his government did in those regions despite serious challenges facing the area. "When you listen to the propaganda you will think my government didnt have any feeling at all to the Northern regions, Kufuor said. Tamale became the most beautiful city in the whole of Ghana because of the government I led. He added: "When you go to the overseas areas, Walewale, Bunkpurugu, a place that had been abandoned from colonial times my government [helped with development]. You come to Karaga, try to go to Kpandai again there was an abandoned bridge, my government completed it and nobody is talking about that."
