Pop Star Robert Mugabe Slams UK In Pop Single

CROONING tyrant Robert Mugabe was yesterday celebrating the success of his first POP single in which he blasts Britain. The croaky song by the ruthless African dictator, 87, is being blared across his homeland of Zimbabwe thanks to his regime giving it away. The track called What Shall We Do? was recorded with a group called Born Free Crew and has received non-stop airplay on state TV and radio. Mugabe's minister of information produced the jangling Afropop song which is even being blasted out on buses in capital Harare. Political expert Takura Zhangazha said: "It's a calculated move to try to sell the image of the 87-year-old leader to voters who are over 18." Mugabe's 24-year iron grip on Zimbabwe has left the once prosperous nation dirt poor. Half the population are jobless.
