Amponsah & Naa Win The "Challenge Season III Reality Show"

Mr Eric Frimpong Amponsah and Naa Ayerley Romey, two young university graduates, were adjudged winners of the �Challenge Season III Television Reality Show� in Accra on Friday. The challenge is an educational reality show that seeks to encourage and reward academic excellence, creativity and a passion for continuous professional leadership development in the Ghanaian Youth. For their prize, they won full scholarship to pursue a Master Degree programme each in any discipline of their choice in two universities in the UK; University of Westminster and Robert Gordon University, and other packages. Other contestants that took part in the show included; Nana Kusi Yeboah, Rhoda Omari, Benjamin Anyan, Ophilia Nyamekye, Irene Migbordzie, and Majirie Myers. The 13-weeks event saw 5 contestants getting to the grand finale including Ms Elsie Attieku-Auku, Ms Sefakor Agbesi and Mr Eric Akomanyi came 3rd, 4th and 5th in that order. As part of the event, contestants were asked to identify an educational challenge in a community and make recommendations and state clearly how a scholarship package would benefit them personally and contribute to the socio-economic development of the country. Mr Moses Anibaba, Director of British Council, expressed gratitude to the sponsors for believing in their idea of championing academic excellence in the growth and development of the youth.
