Residents in Tema Metropolitan area including the Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Hon. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, last Saturday, embarked on a massive clean-up exercise to clean up filth at the Tema General Hospital. Organizations and departments which participated in the clean exercise were National Disaster management Organization (NADMO), Zoomlion Company Limited, assembly members, the various departments and sub-structures in the Tema Metropolitan Assembly, and residents throughout the metropolis. They cleaned-up drains, swept and weeded the environment, and collected heaps of garbage, especially, inside the Tema hospital.
