NPP firebrand and Member of Parliament for Assin North, Hon Kennedy Agyapong, has served official notice to all his debtors, especially those on the other side of the political divide, who have continuously accused him of indulging in the business of illicit drugs trade, to take immediate steps to refund his �drug monies� to him.
The NPP MP named Deputy Minister for Local Gov�t and Rural Dev�t, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah and Deputy Minister for Information, Baba Jamal as beneficiaries of his benevolence.
�It saddens me to mention this gentleman�s name but I heard he was on Radio Gold pontificating that I sold drugs to make a living�But I want him (Elvis Afriyie Ankrah) to recall the day he told me he was broke and chased me around at Legon where I gave him GH� 400. If he (Elvis) says I am into the drugs trade, I�m pleading with him to bring me back my drug money because I don�t want him to spend my drug money,� he said.
According to the NPP MP, who was speaking on AdomFM, on another occasion he had cause to hand over an amount of GH� 3000 to Hon. Baba Jamal because he (Baba) claimed some unscrupulous people have smeared his (Baba�s) image by linking his name to a fraudulent deal.
�Baba Moro was a witness and can testify to this claim�When he was about getting married, Sheila Sackey (State House) was a witness who saw Baba Jamal take a cheque of GH� 1000 from me,� he alleged.
Quoting extensively from Chinese thinker and social philosopher, Confucius, who once said that �if a man saves your life, you are indebted to him for the rest of your life,� the NPP MP said it seems perhaps that his �friends� in the NDC are unaware of this wise saying.
