Reject Kwesi Ahwoi - NDC Delegates Told

Director of Operations for Friends of Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings (FONKAR), Ernest Owusu Bempah has advised delegates of the National Democratic Congress drawn from the Agona East Constituency in the Central Region to outrightly reject by voting massively against Mr. Kwesi Ahwois candidature in the partys parliamentary primaries scheduled for this Saturday. To him, Mr. Ahwoi deserves not to be the representative of the people of Agona East in parliament, simply because he is part of the group of individuals in the party who want to reap where they have not sown. As the NDC parliamentary primaries for orphan constituencies enters its home-stretch, reports of campaign of calumny, accusations and counter-accusations of vote buying and intimidation of delegates keep flying left, right and centre. The Agona East Constituency is likely to be one of the hotly contested seats where the Minister for Food and Agriculture, Mr. Kwesi Ahwoi is battling with three other contestants. Contributing to discussions on the NDCs parliamentary primaries, Mr. Owusu Bempah, who was speaking on Oman FMs National Agenda Morning show, claimed the Agric. Minister was practicing monecracy. He accused him of trying to unduly use his position to influence votes by offering monies to delegates. I urge party delegates and the youth to strongly reject Mr. Kwesi Ahwois parliamentary bid because he doesnt deserve the Agona East seat. If the youth wants the wellbeing of the NDC, then they should reject himMr. Ahwoi is part of the group of people who have contributed nada to the fortunes of the NDC, yet wants to reap where they have not sownhe is never around when people are struggling, but suddenly at hand to enjoy the fruit of other peoples labour, he said. The Director of Operations for FONKAR also lashed out at Mrs Comfort Adubea Adjei, wife of the National Chairman of the NDC, Dr Kwabena Adjei, for blaming her defeat to Mrs Margaret Ansah, in the Akropong primaries, on the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP). Why is she was pointing accusing fingers when she played a part in the machinery to bribe delegates against Nana Konadu (during the NDC National Delegates Congress held in Sunyani)?Has she seen how the world is? When it happens to another person, its nothing but now that it is happening to her, she is crying foul and pointing accusing fingersWhen Nana Konadu was contesting President Mills for the NDCs flagbearership, they said NDC is not a dynasty, but she, as the chairmans wife also contested for the Akropong seat, is that also not dynasty? Owusu Bempah sought to find out.
