CPP Is Fed Up With Paa Kwesi Nduoms Nonsense Samia Nkrumah

The chairperson of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), Samia Nkrumah, has fired a salvo at the 2008 presidential candidate of the party, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, for allegedly orchestrating behind the scene to disintegrate the party. Samia, who did not minced words, singled out the 2012 presidential hopeful for going at all length to discredit the national executives and bring the name of the party into disrepute. She claimed the former MP for Komenda Edina Eguafo Abirem (KEEA) has relentlessly waged a campaign to demoralize party supporters. She served notice that Dr. Nduom, who launched his presidential bid on the ticket of the party in grandeur style last month, is behind all negative happenings taking place in the party. Nduom has been accused by party officials including General Secretary Ivor Greenstreet of being behind the calls for early congress. His act has been described as a selfish ambition. The national executive committee of the party is meeting on Tuesday to discuss the ongoing within the party. She hinted that Dr. Nduom faces expulsion from the party. Well not tolerate this nonsense, she told Accra-based Joy FM on Monday. Enough is enough. Were fed up with this nonsense. Nkrumah said Dr. Nduoms departure from the CPP will not affect the party in anyway, but will rather open the floodgates for more supporters to join. She denied allegations that she is into secret meetings with members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to merge with them ahead of the general elections next year. I have met the NDC and NPP several times since I returned to Ghana to engage in active politics I have not aligned myself neither with NPP or NDC. I have resisted several attempts to entice me, Nkrumah revealed. She added: There is actually no division in the party and there is actually no division but a section being created by Nduom. Enough is enough.
