There is still controversy as to what exactly might have led to the death of Gabe Smalls, an upcoming rap artiste from Tema, a suburb of Accra. News broke last week that 21-year old Smalls had committed suicide because his lover had dumped him. The rumour behind his death spread like wild-fire and has almost become accepted as the cause of Gabe�s death though police reports have not confirmed this. On his facebook page, Gabe Smalls, became inundated with �Rest In Peace� messages from friends and sympathizers, with some even claiming that Gabe had written a suicide note in which he threatened to �end it all�.
