The youth wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Abuakwa South constituency has called on the people of the Akyem State to desist from dragging the MP�s name into the mud. Samuel Atta Akyea has been accused of fuelling the brouhaha in the Akyem State over allegations made against the Okyehene. The Okyehene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panyin II was accused of condoning galamsey activities; an allegation Atta Akyea was fingered to have masterminded. But the angry youth of the constituency at a press conference on Tuesday indicated that the MP is occupied with helping the party�s flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo win election 2012. The constituency Youth Organiser Okuampa Agyeman told Citi News that �Odehyie Kwame is not a child, he is a grown up, who has been to Cuba for 12 years and trained as a cadre. Who is Honourable Atta Akyea to control him or manipulate him to do things? � Agyeman added: �He is not a child at all and by so doing they shouldn�t drag Honourable Atta Akyea into the match. We should also bear in mind that Atta Akyea�s agenda is to make Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo the next president of the Republic. That is his main purpose of coming into politics. �
