NPP Member of Parliament for Assin North in the Central Region, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong says the only difference between him and Mr. Alfred Agbesi Woyome, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) bankroller is that the latter is �a stupid big fool� who needs to be dealt with by the law. He also adds that the other difference between them is that he (Ken) is not a plunderer of state coffers like Mr. Woyome. The two gentleman have been traded insults over the airwaves recently after Ken Agyapong accused officials of the Attorney-General�s Department of deliberately refusing to defend the state to enable Mr. Woyome win the case and labeled the NDC activist a �thief�. Not to be undone, the co-opted member of the Volta Regional Executive of the NDC launched a scathing attack on the Assin North MP, describing him as an �ignoramus� who just talks haphazardly without recourse to any facts or evidence. Mr. Woyome, who was doled out GH�41,811,480.59 of state money in a court settlement, told a media briefing in Accra, that he won the huge amount squarely, because the Kufuor administration ditched him after winning the contract to execute a job in connection with the renovation of the two leading stadia in the country, and the construction of an additional two. A High Court in 2010 ordered the State to pay an amount of GH�42 million in judgment debt to the NDC bankroller over what he describes as the illegal termination of his contract.
