NDC Supporters Urged To Close Their Ranks

Mr Alex Attivor, Ashanti Regional Vice-Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has appealed to supporters to close their ranks and work together to make the party more formidable. He advised party supporters against complacency since Election 2012 would be crucial, instead they should adopt pragmatic measures so that the NDC could attain a resounding victory. Mr Attivor, who was speaking at the inauguration of the partys Yarewa area branch of the Subin Constituency, in Kumasi, appealed to the supporters to embark on house-to-house campaign to propagate the success story of the Mills Administration, to win more votes for the party. He also cautioned them to avoid indecent and inflammatory language during next years electioneering. Mr Attivor formally introduced the partys parliamentary candidate for the constituency, Reverend Paul Quansah, 52, to the supporters. Rev Quansah appealed other contestants, who lost the bid for the parliamentary ticket, to join his campaign to so that the NDC could wrest the seat from the New Patriotic Party. Mr Abdul Razak, the partys branch chairman, said he would help strengthen the NDC support base in the area.
