...And Lord Kenya's Father Wept

Hip-life star, Abraham Philip Akpor Kojo Kenya, better known as Lord Kenya, has launched his new Christ life album announcing that he had been arrested by the Holy Spirit and had become a born-again Christian. The album launch which took place at the St. James Baptist Church, Bantama could easily be described as an anointed emotionally charged event. Nana Akpor Kenya, Lord Kenyas father gave a tearful account of pains and frustrations the family had experienced at the peak of his sons stardom when alcoholism and drug abuse were integral parts of Lords life. Kenyas father recalled that there were times I feared to go before my own son. I was questioned and intimidated by some of the people he surrounded himself with whenever I tried to see my own son. It was all joy after the emotional outpouring and Lord Kenya could not help but hug his father as he took to the stage to perform his Christ life track, stirring patrons to emotional heights. The 33-year-old hip-life superstar held the audience spellbound with testimony about his liberation from the ghetto to the church. He is now in the Christ business but he still had his swag on to excite the crowd. He was supported at the launch by Agape Incorporated, Prophet Seth Frempong, Slim Becky, and Rev. George Owusu Mensah.
