An Accra-based private legal practitioner, Bright Akwetey, has picked forms to contest the flagbearership of the Convention People�s Party (CPP). Ahead of a brief ceremony at the CPP headquarters to pick his forms, Mr. Akwetey told Citi News in an interview that what the CPP requires now is a viable and competitive leader. �I�m going for the slot because with the position I am vying for, I will do better than others have done in the previous years,� he said. �I have sat by seeing others do it and I can think I can reach greater heights. I am willing to make sacrifices to serve the country better. � After picking the forms, he told an Accra-based television station TV3 that he is determined to build the party structures from the grassroots. �There are people in the party who have relaxed and we want them all to come back. I believe I can entice many people as we seek to make the party attractive,� lawyer Akwetey said.
