Nyantakyi Named CAF Delegation Chief For Franceville During Afcon

Ghana FA chief Kwesi Nyantakyi has been named as CAFs leader of delegation in Franceville during the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations which starts this weekend. The young lawyer will be taking the major decisions on behalf of the continents governing body in Franceville, one of the host venues of the tournament. Nyantakyis impressive contribution to CAF since joining the Executive Committee last year is what has led to the decision to give him the post. His hardworking nature prompted the governing body that he will do a good job despite the presence of other senior officials in CAF. The CAF delegation will welcome the teams, Ghana, Botswana, Mali and Guinea on their arrival to the venue. Nyantakyi will hold meetings to discuss the schedules for the four teams, provide training facilities, organise press briefings and the matches, ensuring that the matches in Franceville are hitch-free. The CAF delegation is made of membership from Executive Committee of Caf, the Local Organising Committee, Medical, Technical, Referee, Security and Media Committees.
