Adjaho CruisesThrough Primaries

Friends of Doe Adjaho, (FODA), a support movement of Mr Doe Adjaho, on Monday said his success at the primaries would boost the National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2012 election strategy. Mr Adjaho, the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament was elected by popular acclamation, for his possibly sixth term in Parliament for Ave-Avenor Constituency due to his sole opponent, Mr Evans Dzikunu Gadetoes disqualification during vetting. A statement signed by James Gunu, FODA Secretary, said Mr Adjaho would garner more votes for himself and President John Evans Atta Mills in the coming elections. The statement said Mr Adjaho on his victory at the Primaries accepted to work harder to increase the Partys 30, 255 votes in the 2008 elections, representing 89.1 percent of votes cast. In the view of FODA, Mr Doe Adjahos performance as Member of Parliament over the years was a reflection of the development orientation of President Mills. The statement appealed to the residents of the Ave-Avenor Constituency to vote massively for the duo of good performers, President Mills and Mr Doe Adjaho. It assured that their President Mills and Mr Doe Adjaho good works would definitely translate into votes come 2012 general elections.
