A renowned Spiritualist, Nana Kwaku Bonsam has challenged claims by Prophet Emmanuel Kwaku Atta Kankam that the Flagstaff House is an abode of Satan.
Prophet Kwaku Kankam in an interview with Adom FM early on, said, the Flagstaff House, which was once the seat of government under Ghana�s first President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, is serving as a strong temple for Satan, claiming that any President who occupies the building will serve as the High Priest of Satan.
Prophet Kankam therefore said the facility should be used as a tourist attraction. But in a sharp rebuttal on Dwaso Nsem on Monday, Nana Kwaku Bonsam challenged the authenticity of the said Prophet�s claim.
Kwaku Bonsam alleged that Prophet Kankam is not a man of God, let alone be fit to be called a Prophet. The renowned spiritualist maintained that if Prophet Kankam is really a man of God as he professes, he should have warned against the construction of the multi-million dollar facility years ago.
The NPP in 2007 pulled down the old structure of the Flagstaff House and rebuilt it with a grant from the Indian government to serve as the new seat of government. The Kufuor government, however, used the facility for a few months before leaving office in 2008 due to delay in construction.
But President Atta Mills refused to use the facility when he took over power in 2008, and preferred to use the Christianburg Castle.
Perhaps reviving an old rivalry, Kwaku Bonsam and Kwaku Kankam, had previously clashed over claims of spiritual prowess years ago when a proposed contest slated for GBC was abruptly abandoned.
Kwaku Bonsam has therefore dared Prophet Emmanuel Kwaku Kankam to a 'contest of powers' on Friday, which is most likely to happen at the forecourt of Adom FM.
In a related development, Rev Yaw Owusu Ansah of Resurrection Power and Living Bread Ministries and a Preacher on Adom FM said, Satan does not need to live in a structure before it can operate, adding such prophecies should be ignored.
Rev Owusu Ansah noted that some people make certain pronouncements to get cheap popularity and he sees Prophet Kankam as one of them.
