Former Miss Ghana Promises Prez Mills...NPP Will Be Routed In Election 2012

Elected Parliamentary candidate for the Ledzokuku ticket of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Mrs. Benita Sena Okity-Dua, has promised President Mills, that the opposition New Patriotic Party will be routed in the 2012 elections to hand the NDC flawless victory on the way to a re-election. Mrs. Okity-Dua, who resigned her position as the Ledzokuku NDCs Womens Organizer to challenge incumbent MP, Nii Nortey-Dua, for the partys Parliamentary ticket confidently predicted that the NPPs candidate will be routed by a margin two times what she was beaten with in the 2008 elections. In the 2008 elections, Dr. Gladys Norley Ashietey of the New Patriotic Party, who was then the incumbent MP, was defeated by the NDCs Nii Nortey-Dua by a margin of over 11,000 votes. I want to promise the President that I will double this margin 2012, Mrs. Okity-Dua told journalists after she had come out victorious in the NDCs Parliamentary primary in Ledzokuku.
