Dont Go Solo, Failed NDC Parliamentary Aspirants Urged

The Gomoa West District Chief Executive, Mr Theophilus Aidoo-Mensah, has expressed concern about the performance of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communication Team and said the team must be more proactive. He said the Team must be up and doing in projecting the achievements of President John Atta Millss government. The December elections would be based on achievements and not on propaganda, he told newsmen in Apam. Mr Aidoo-Mensah appealed to candidates who lost at the parliamentary primaries and have decided to go independent to rescind their decision and added that such a step would not be in the interest of the party and could affect its fortunes. He said the losing candidates should be patient and wait for four years to contest the primaries again. Losing primaries does not mean the end of ones political career, Mr Aidoo-Mensah said. He said going to Parliament was not the only job a politician must aim at and urged them to rather cooperate with the winners and help them to win the seat for NDC.
