Nobody Can Scuttle PNC Congress - Mornah

The National Executives of the Peoples National Convention (PNC) say they will go ahead with Saturdays National Delegates Congress despite attempts by a member of the party to scuttle the plan through legal means. Dr. Somtim Tobigah, whose court injunction prevented the party from going to congress last year, has once again brought a legal action against the partys current leadership. He is challenging their authority to hold a congress since according to him, their tenure has expired. The General Secretary of the party Bernard Mornah in an interview with Citi News said despite the legal suit, the party will not be derailed in its forward march. He said the party is hopeful of a successful congress after fighting several legal battles. This weekends congress is expected to see the election of a flagbearer and other national officers of the minority party in Ghana.
