Some fresh posters of a defeated National Democratic Congress flagbearer, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, at the party�s Sunyani congress have popped up in Tamale and in the Ashanti region. The posters have the portrait of Mrs. Rawlings, a �Sankofa� sign and with the inscription, �Konadu for President 2012. � The posters are similar to the ones that surfaced in the Central region of Ghana some few weeks ago. This could mean that the former first lady�s presidential ambition is gaining ground as her loyalists openly display her posters in various parts of the country. Alhassan Murtala, the Informer newspaper reporter in the Northern region told Citi News that the posters were displayed around the Tamale old market. �We woke up this morning [Monday] and saw the posters displayed around the old Tamale market area and as we speak the posters are still there,� he said. He explained that �they are virtually the same posters that were displayed in Accra and other parts of the country with her picture and the NDC party colours. �
