Sekou Nkrumah In Trouble

Controversial Sekou Nkrumah, the third son of Ghanas Premier President, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah must be in a fight of his life as his actions or inactions have incurred for him the wrath of some Muslims leaders in the country. These include Alhaji Abubakar, Chief of Moshie at Nima, Alhaji Isahaka Boss, opinion leader, Alhaji Ahmed Salifu, Opinion leader, Pig farm, and Aska of the NDC Zongo caucus. Sekous Crime? According to the leaders, they feel highly disappointed and disgusted at Sekou for blaspheming against one of the stalwarts of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and respected Muslim brother of the country, Alhaji Said Sinare. In an exclusive interview with the Accra Times, the angry Muslims could not phantom why Sekou should refer to Alhaji Said Sinare as a nonentity or nobody. They said when President John Evans Atta Mills appointed Alhaji Said Sinare as Ghanas ambassador to Egypt, Sekou, known for opening his mouth wide, declared that the President had made a bad appointment, since Saids appointment was not going to bring anything meaningful to the country by way of investment. Rather, the appointed ambassador was only going to have fun or jamboree in Egypt. According to them, what annoyed them most was that, this very man Sekou was denigrating, was through his instrumentality that Sekou became an NDC member. What was more; it was through Alhaji Saids father, Alhaji Saleh Said Sinare that Sekous father, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah married his mother, Fathia. This is because, Alhaji Saids father was not only one of the first Muslim scholars to have studied in Egypt, but also the first Ghanaian to marry an Egyptian and it was through his (Said fathers) instrumentality that the marriage between Nkrumah and Fathia came about. That apart, Saids father was one of the right hand men of Dr. Nkrumah and through him Nkrumah knew the first President of Egypt, Gamel Abdul-Nassar. They maintained that, Alhaji Saleh Said Sinare was the first Director of counter-intelligence of the Ghana Armed Forces as well as a top spiritual leader of the country. "Now, how can Sekou Nkrumah describe his son as useless?" They queried furiously. They maintained that sekous's actions and inactions had rather made him a black sheep in Nkrumahs family and that no one will take him serious in his life for being ungrateful to President Atta Mills when he eventually adopted him as a son. Why is it that Sekous other brothers and Sister have gained respect globally, but Sekou rather looks like a useless tissue in a dirty political dustbin?, they asked angrily.
