Martin Amidu Battles Another Judgement Debt In Court

Citi News checks indicate that former Attorney-General, Martin Amidu was in court battling yet another questionable judgement debt payment. It involves the payment of $1,300,000 which was awarded to a Spanish company for an alleged breach of contract. The company, ISOFOTON, claims it was awarded the contract by the Energy ministry, in an execution of a project dubbed the Solar Power Water Pumping Irrigation Systems in Remote Areas of Ghana. This revelation comes to light when the Nation is deep-necked into the Woyome GHC51 million judgment debt scandal. The former Attorney-General was seeking to set aside a High Court ruling that led to the payment of the compensation. The case is currently before the High Court Thirteen. A ruling which was supposed to be given on the matter on 23rd of January has been adjourned to March this year. State Prosecutor, Mrs. Ama Bamfo is in charge of the case. Mr. Amidu who released the infamous gargantuan criminals allegation was relieved of his post following what the Presidency described as misconduct" last month.
