Ken Ofori-Atta Retires......

The Board of Directors of the Databank Group announces the retirement of Ken Ofori‐Atta as the Executive Chairman of the company effective today February 14, 2012. Keli Gadzekpo, Co‐ founder and formerly Executive Vice‐Chairman of the Group, has consequently been named the Chief Executive Officer. Ken remains the non‐executive Chairman of the Group. Commenting on the announcement, Ken Ofori‐Atta said, �It has been an extraordinary privilege to build and lead Databank through its first 22 years with Keli Gadzekpo�s help and guidance every step of the way, so it is very gratifying to be able to hand over the reins to him for the next leg of the journey. I am looking forward to taking a backseat and contributing in a different way in my new role as Chairman and ambassador at large as we continue to drive the business forward.� The new CEO Keli Gadzekpo, has been responsible for the overall financial and administrative management of the company since it was founded. He will retain his roles as Chairman of Enterprise Insurance Company Limited and the Databank Foundation.
