How To Handle Your First Date Effectively

Most teen girls get nervous about their first date and such a feeling is quite obvious. There are feelings of excitement, nervousness, tension; basically a blend of all of them. Its a special day for you as you are getting ready for your first date. You pray that you dont make a fool of yourself and wish that the date goes great; so that you would remember it always. You have wanted to go out with a guy for a long time and he finally asks you out for a date. You are excited and nervous at the same time. Actually its difficult to define your feelings presently; you are willing to do anything to impress the guy, make him like you. Here are few tips to keep in mind in order to make your date a success. 1. Dress up appropriately according to the occasion. Make sure that you have been informed of the activity which your date has decided. If you are going to a caf-joint then dont dress up extravagantly, let it be simple but appealing. 2. Be confident about yourself. There is no need to get nervous. Just relax, enjoy and have fun, thats what dates are meant to be. 3. Talk about good things: Talk about your school, your hobbies, what you do for fun, your friends in general, your talents etc. Do not talk about your insecurities or problems. Discuss what you both like doing. If you both have something in common then you could plan out your second date doing that activity which both of you enjoy; watching a football match, skating, ice rolling, bungee jumping etc. Keep the conversation light and fun. 4. Who pays? Generally the person who asks for the date pays. You may offer to pay but if he goes on insisting then let your date pay. It is a good idea to treat him to a desert
