Napoli vs Chelsea (KO - 7:45)...Back Me Roman!!!

ANDRE VILLAS-BOAS has called on Chelsea to give him their public backing. The under-pressure Blues boss insists he is at the club long-term and will not be sacked whatever happens in tonight's Champions League showdown in Naples. But he admits it would make his life a lot easier if Roman Abramovich, or any of the Chelsea board, came out and voiced their support. He said last night: "My job is for this year and the next two years and I have the full confidence of the owner. "I know these words would be more valuable coming from the top. I cannot keep saying them. But as the voice of the club I will continue to perpetuate this message as this is what we believe in." Villas-Boas insists he was ordered to oversee a complete overhaul of the club when he accepted Abramovich's job offer last summer. And he is adamant the owner is not wavering in his commitment to the 'project'. He added: "From 2004 up to now has been the richest part of Chelsea's history for trophies and success. "But if you want to perpetuate that success into the future, you have to make changes. "I can understand the speculation about my future. But we have a three-year project to change not only the team but also the culture and structure of the club." Villas-Boas, with no win in four games, knows he must sort it against Napoli tonight. But to add to his woes, he added: "John Terry is a major doubt."
