NDC Must Tell Its Performance Story - Ofosu-Ampofo

Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, has stressed the need for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government to continually tell its performance story over the past three years. He said this would counter the propaganda of non-performance being bandied about by detractors. Mr Ofosu-Ampofo was speaking at a durbar of market women in Ho over the perceived delays in the construction of a modern market in Ho. He said the government of President Mills was not being loud enough about its performance, giving critics, room to belittle “big successes” achieved in various areas of governance. According to him, the NDC under President Mills had in three years served the people in Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s constituency better than the New Patriotic Party Flag Bearer’s term as Member of Parliament for that area. Mr Ofosu-Ampofo urged the market women to keep faith in President Mills, who is an honest and meticulous leader.
