Nobody Can Dissolve FONKAR Without The Approval Of Nana Konadu

Ernest Owusu Bempah, leading member of the group Friends of Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings (FONKAR), says Mr. Ransford Chatman Vanni-Amoah has no authority whatsoever, whether real or imagined, to declare the group dissolved. He argues that nobody or group of persons can unilaterally dissolve FONKAR, without the approval of former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings. Speaking on Okay FM yesterday, Mr. Owusu Bempah denied media reports to the effect that FONKAR has been dissolved. He said, Nobody can dissolve FONKAR without the backing of former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings; hoot at anybody who issues a statement to the effect that FONKAR has been dissolved, it is not true, our national executive and the others are all at post. It would be recalled that the Enquirer newspaper carried a story based on a communiqu issued after a supposed extraordinary meeting by members of the group which unanimously announced its dissolution. According to the communiqu signed by Mr. Ransford Chatman Vanni-Amoah, founder/president and five other founding members of FONKAR, The founder, the founding members and the delegates from all the ten regions unanimously resolve on consensus that FONKAR is dissolved and from today shall cease to exist in the greater interest of the party.
