Airtel Ghana�s National Consumer Promotion Airtel Friendzy ends with lots of excitement in Accra. The promotion which has been running for over three months has rewarded more than a thousand individuals with cash prizes, Samsung tablets and Samsung SII mobile devices and airtime. The promotion ended Saturday, March 3, 2012, in Accra with BUDUJAY 1 winning the ultimate prize of GHC 50,000 as the group with the highest number of points. MERCI won the second prize of GHC15,000 and ARK 1 won the third prize of GHC10,000. Speaking at the event, the Head of Corporate Communications and External Affairs at Airtel Ghana Mr. Donald Gwira stated that the promotion started in December 2011 and has been running for 10 weeks. What we simply did was that we put together how much an individual or group top up with or used on Voice calls, internet and Value Added services like SMS or Caller Ring Back Tones and reward you as an individual or group. One fascinating thing about this promotion is the excitement it has brought to participating groups. We toured the major cities in Ghana; Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast and Accra, rewarding our customers and giving back to them. We made that promise at the beginning of the year and we are happy to have fulfilled it�.
