Kwaku Bonsam Exposes President Mills

Nana Kwaku Bonsam is indeed becoming a rather daring fetish priest with a passion for controversy. At a time his colleague traditionalist and even chiefs and traditional rulers apparently lack the courage to critique the government for taking a decision to sideline traditional prayers and the pouring of libation at state events, Kwaku Bonsam has taken the fight right to the doorsteps of the President. If they say they would not allow our traditional priests to pour libation at state functions because it is idol worship, then I can say the President himself participates in idol worship because when he visits chiefs and rulers in their palaces, libation is poured and the President says nothing because he knows they are prayers being said. How then can they turn round now and say the pouring of libation is idol worship, yet they say they are Ghanaians from Africa, Bonsam noted in Twi. The fetish priest said if in future Ghana got a Muslim president, it would be unfair for the person to say Christian prayers should not be said at state events, therefore, it was wrong for the President to sideline traditional prayers and the pouring of libation from state functions because he belonged to the Christian faith. When asked if pouring of libation was idol worship, Kwaku Bonsam said it was a prayer to the Supreme Being and that what God hated most was not libation but corrupt people who pretended to be angels, yet exploited innocent people and made money from the sweat of the poor. They are talking about idol worship but have closed their eyes on corruption and the telling of lies and the insult of people who do not share in their opinion. Or are they telling us that the God they serve loves these things? Bonsam added.
