Ghana's economic and development strides have again be lauded by Chair of the Global Board of the Standard Chartered Bank, Sir John Peace.
Sir John who made the commendation said, Ghana is a viable market and the bank cherishes the cooperation.
During a courtesy call on President John Mahama at Flagstaff House in Accra, Sir John, said Standard Chartered currently operates in about fifty sub-Saharan Africa countries and see's Africa as the biggest story in the next five years.
President Mahama, said government cherishes the advisory relationship with Stanchart.
He noted that as an emerging market, government is putting in place a number of reforms to ensure optimal performance of the economy.
President Mahama mentioned reforms in the Public Finance Management system and Revenue institutions.
