A Financial analyst, Isaac Adongo, says it will be wrong to say that the country is experiencing an unprecedented economic crisis.
According to him, Ghana has had similar situation in the past.
Commenting on a lecture delivered by Ghana's longest serving finance minister, Professor Kwesi Botchwey, Mr Adongo said in the past government resorted to selling public assets to make up for budget deficits.
Mr Adongo was of the view that the new appointments to the finance Ministry will contribute greatly to helping the government achieve its targets.
