The Rector of the Takoradi a Polytechnic, Rev. Professor Daniel Nyarko says the country has enough educational institutions to churn out the calibre of human resource needed to man all sectors.
What is necessary, he said, is for government to ensure that every child of school going age has access to quality education and also constantly build the capacity of teachers, effective management and supervision.
He said the value and role if knowledge can never be downplayed adding that basic education is a necessary step on the educational ladder.
Reverend Professor Nyarko said these at the twentieth Speech and Prize Giving Day celebrations of the Nest School Complex at Anaji, in the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis of the Western Region.
It was themed " The importance of quality Basic Eduacation in Ghana, the way forward.
