Prudential Ghana is set to provide crucial financial support to enable hundreds of high school students throughout Ghana to complete their education.
The scholarship programme, which has been developed with Plan International Ghana an international NGO, will also provide financial literacy lessons.
Scholarships have been awarded to students throughout Ghana, including St Mary's Senior High School in Accra. Prudential has ambitious plans to provide financial support to over 500 high school students in Accra, Kumasi, Sekondi-Takoradi, Tema, Koforidua, Sunyani, Ho, Winneba and Dodowa.
Matt Lilley, CEO of Prudential Africa, said: “We are committed to contributing to Ghana’s long-term prosperity. These vital scholarships will enable students to realise their dreams and reach their full potential. Without these generous awards, many students may not have been able to complete their education.”
George Yorke, Sponsorship Manager of Plan International Ghana, said: “We are delighted that Prudential has committed to enabling students to complete their education in Ghana. Children are our future and we are therefore proud to be part of this scholarship programme.”
