The organised labour nationwide demonstration greatly affected justice delivery as the courts did not open.
At the Kumasi court complex, the main gate leading to the offices were locked with padlocks while the court rooms also remained locked.
Most of the staff who are members of Judicial Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG) were seen in their T-shirts ready to join the demonstration.
Some litigants did not know about the demonstration and had come to the court premises ostensibly to have their cases heard.
They were seen sitting solemnly under some of the trees at the court premises discussing among themselves.
The situation was not any different at the Appeal Court complex which houses some of the High courts.
The complex is currently undertaking some renovation at the place and the contractor was seen feverishly working.
Activities at the ministries also seemed to be low key with most of the offices not opened.
