A Kumasi Circuit Court, presided over by Mrs. Mary Nsenkyire, has ordered a caught with 44.30 grams of marijuana to be held in prison custody.
Inusah Dramani, alias ‘Dagoe’, 21, pleaded not guilty to the offence and would make his next appearance on December 27.
Police Chief Inspector Hannah A. Acheampong told the court that the accused was arrested on June 16, at about 2100 hours.
This was during a special operation mounted by officers of the Asokwa Divisional Police Command to help smoke out drug peddlers in the Kumasi metropolis.
Dramani was seen riding a motorbike and when stopped and searched, the drug in 25 wraps was uncovered.
The prosecution said sample of the dried leaves sent for forensic laboratory examination proved to be marijuana.

MMischievousness is the order of such a criminal and trying to impute it to the outgoing governing is ingenious and posporous and we must treat as a common criminal offense .The court would settle the matter in the appropriate time.
Wow!! It seems we can't solve this marijuana issue once and for all. Research upon research is telling us that this herb cures some serious diseases! Much as we do everything the obroni says, we should also legalize it just as the obroni has done. The Whiteman criminalized it because our land is so fertile it can grow the best of weed! I once had a life threatening boil, & it was marijuana that saved me. I didn't smoke it. I grinded it, added little water, and after 2 days I was free. Our intellectuals are failing us.
Hahahaha @Kofi, I think he is NDC man he want to tell us the percentage Mahama got. That is if EC bring all the other 4 constituencies, Mahama will fall to 44.30
Oops! The weight of the marijuana was nearly 44.40! Just returning from the EC's collation room...
