The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) will on Friday, November 24, 2017 confer a medal of honour on multiple award-winning broadcaster, Kwami Sefa Kayi.
Kwami Sefa Kayi, host of Peace FM's flagship programme "Kokrokoo", is to receive the conferment of a "Distinguished Service Medal" from the Council of the University for his immense contributions to the health sector and the country at large.
According to the Council, it's become necessary for the renowned broadcaster to go into the University's Hall of Fame having considered his "strong advocacy role in support of infant health delivery services and your outstanding career in journalism, among several other roles being played to promote good governance in the country".
A special congregation will be held at the Great Hall of University to commemorate the occasion.
Congratulations in advance to the "Chairman General" on radio.

Congratulations Chairman General may you climb unto higher heights in your chosen career.
Congrats Chairman General!
Well done KNUST and Chairman General. Hope this will spur up and coming journalist to higher standards. BUT WHY ARE GHANAIAN UNIVERSITIES SO SHY OF AWARDING HONORY DOCTORATE DEGREES? KSK could have been bestowed such honour. The likes of veteran, seasoned, well deserving journalist like Kwaku Baako and others including anti-corruption campaigners in Ghana should be considered for such awards from our Universities. Don't wait till they are no more before they are recognized post-humously. ANY WAY, WELL DONE TO KNUST.
Chairman General, you deserve this and even more. May you continue to serve God and country. God bless you
