The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) will on Friday, November 24, 2017 confer a medal of honour on multiple award-winning broadcaster, Kwami Sefa Kayi.
Kwami Sefa Kayi, host of Peace FM's flagship programme "Kokrokoo", is to receive the conferment of a "Distinguished Service Medal" from the Council of the University for his immense contributions to the health sector and the country at large.
According to the Council, it's become necessary for the renowned broadcaster to go into the University's Hall of Fame having considered his "strong advocacy role in support of infant health delivery services and your outstanding career in journalism, among several other roles being played to promote good governance in the country".
A special congregation will be held at the Great Hall of University to commemorate the occasion.
Congratulations in advance to the "Chairman General" on radio.

Just so proud of you Bra Kwame congrats
Our universities should do better than this. Some people in Ghana deserve honorary doctorate. Kwaku Baako is one person who has distinguish himself in journalism and used his Tiger eye PI to expose corruption in high places.
You are my mentor, and i know i didn't chose you for no reason, indeed you are the maestro on the field. I wish i could have a one on one conversation with you. Congrats mentor........
Congrats, C-G, KSK. u deserve it
I congratulate KNUST for this honor bestowed on the Chairman General. This is long overdue, but better late than never. PEACE FM should not wait for the Chairman General to be no more before we say all the good things about him. It is high time we recognized and honored our citizens whilst they are alive. Congrats KNUST. Congrats Mr KSK. May u live to see your great grand children. May u live to see the goodness of the Lord here in the land of the living.
We will give the jobs to our boys. Yes, some people are more Ghanaians than others. Nobody should convince that KNUST is not a branch constituency of NPP. Well done, cronies. But remember, Ghanaians vote.
congrats bro.May the Good Lord push you higher and higher.
The award is a recognition and I think its in right direction. massa we listen various radio presenters/djs et all and what they offer the society, tweaaa. some of them you cant listen to them twice. congrats chairman. continue the good work.
