The Minister for Railways Development, Hon. Joe Ghartey, on Monday May 7, 2018 paid a working visit to Tarkwa to inspect an ongoing project.
The minster was accompanied by officials of the sector agency and some project officers during the inspection.
The purpose of the site visit was to enable the minster familiarize himself with the progress of works and to also enhance efforts to address any issues or challenges that were likely to impact negatively on the achievement of the objectives for which the project is being carried out.
Hon Joe Ghartey rode on a locomotive rail from Tarkwa to Nsuta to inspect the new line reconstructed by workers of Ghana Railway Company Ltd.

YOYO you are exposing yourself as an ignoramus. If the ndc government in every year of their 27 years share of our entire recent history as a nation, 16 years of the 25 years of the 4th republic, to repair ONE HUNDRED KILOMETERS OF OUR RAILWAY LINES we would certainly not be where we are now. So if in 15 months the NPP have repaired and opened up the Kojokrom to Tarkwa stretch of our rail lines with a LOCOMOTIVE WORKERS INSPECTION AND WORK MACHINE and you still rubbish it, then certainly Ghana does not need the ndc and people like you for the next 50 years.
This is the way we will build our country....with hard work on infrastructure that means something, linking mines and processing areas to points of export. Not "Accra Dubai" with cheap lights, cracked paving and vulgar glitz. Only of use in the dumsor era, when children from homes without electricity needed somewhere to do their homework!
VISIT THE NEW WEBSITE OF THE GHANA MINISTRY OF RAILWAY DEVELOPMENT AND SEE ALL THE GREAT AND WONDERFUL PLANS AND WORK BEING DONE BY JOE GHARTEY AND HIS TEAM FOR GHANA RAILWAYS. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING AND PROGRESSIVE. GHANA IS MOVING FORWARD INTO GREATNESS.
You think Ghana would fail under Nana Addo? Sleep kraa, because by The Grace of God Ghana would work under Nana Addo. There's money, chop some but let us benefit more from it, we the good people of Ghana understand that kind of stealing but stealing 90% and using 10% for the work, the NDC made so many mistakes cos it's not accepted.
Eeeeiiiii! Hahahahahahahahaaaa!ndcfuo yareyare papa! Hahahahahahahahaha! Ajeeeeeeiiiii ! Eeii ! If you stay in the ndc you will never know how the world us working. This is not the train for transportation but this locomotive is what the engineers use to build the rails and work on the lines hahahahahaha! In America to be precise New York this is what they use to fix the rails and they start working on their rails every weekend from Friday night to Sunday night so some rail roads are closed for repairs and they divert directions which sometimes make travelling cumbersome and not exciting, because sometimes you need to take shuttle bus to another subway station to connect to your destination so ndc this locomotive is only for the workers hahahahahahahaha! Masree saaaa! Eeeeeiiii! Ghana, Nana Addo, Mr President, there is a lot of work to do,the ign**rance is too much and unfortunately those who have some kind of education are the most naive. So sad!
2018 and still having cheap old train
Its a shame after 60+ years of independence, look at our railway lines. These pot belly politicians travel abroad and see modern things but, come and take our money to give us over 100+ technology and want the whole world to applaud them. I'm ashamed of this "***barred word***" project.
Thank God, Ghana is working again. NDC should be kept in opposition for more than 20 years. Amen.
