By the way, we all love development to come to Ghana. We are happy that the railway sector is receiving which will help in many ways including reducing the rampant road carnages on our roads. However, we are pleading with the politicians to look beyond political lenses in such crucial projects. They must have the future in mind when making decisions for projects. Do just go and buy "anything" just because you want to get credit and also use it as a means to benefit financially. I ask that is this the best train we could build? Is it robust enough to last for many decades? Are we intending to add more coaches to maximise its use as passenger numbers increase? How are we planning to maintain them? It's scary that even with the first testing, people in charge couldn't be responsible enough to ensure safety of the train, the crew and nearby residents. Sloppiness seems to be synonymous to our culture unfortunately.
Another important but missing question is that are the coaches of the train yet to arrive? Because this one looks like just one coach plus the cab-cars. It would be called a rail bus and not a train, without multiple coaches.
I had to laugh out loud 😂. Now it's obvious that NPP fanatics don't read.....seems they just read the first line and start to draw vicious conclusions. At this point it's safe to say that most of the intellectuals who were loyal to the NPP have defected, left with more of the empty cymbals.
Trains and digitisation are superficial projects? Is this guy Wofa K correct? Until today, I didn't k now that we have people like Wofa K in Ghana. Stup1d1ty will never stop. Look at congestion on our roads and building a rail network (trains) is the answer to transport problems in Ghana. Yet Wofa and his sharp teeth brigade will criticise it. Big shame
NDC party is like a suicide bombing group in those places we hear about. NDC is EVIL! NDC, NEVER AGAIN!
It is a waste of time arguing with Wofa K. Wofa K is a political ***barred word*** who cannot think. Yet I guess he might have completed a degree at University. It is a big shame and embarrassing.
So, with all the cameras around the lines (if there're one) couldn't alert authorities about the truck on the railway lines? abaaaaaaa Ghana
@Wofa K and Blame Shifting, feel free to have your opinion, albeit I encourage you to do so in a cultured manner. If you think my comment is politically motivated, then I want you to know that I am a disappointed Nana Addo supporter. Since I started voting, only the NPP has benefitted from my votes. But of course I am not a dogmatic follower of a political party, so I can switch my loyalty whenever I deem it appropriate. Given the ills in the society and the kind of promises and assurances Nana Addo gave, in consideration of his age and other factors, who ever thought his tenure would worsen the plight of Ghanaians? I stand with what I said previously, looking at some projects like sharing of tablets to students and some building projects that will obviously become irrelevant in the next 10 years, and many other reasons, it suffices to say that most of their projects are superficial and motivated by vote acquisition and not the long term good of the country. If people have the interest of the nation as the ultimate motivation for whatever they do, Iit will reflect in the quality of decisions they make. In regards to this train, are we sure that it was made from durable materials that can stand the test of time? It didn't even stand the test drive with a crash on a truck.....
After the COVID-19 Vaccination, a lot of people in Ghana can not think well
@Kojo What did you mean with this comment: "We have been telling you that this Nana Addo/Bawumia government is only interested in superficial projects that will misinform people that they are working. This is just one of the evidences." How is the acquisition of the trains to support transport system in the country as part of the country's development be a superficial project? Or did the president and his vice intentionally bring the train just to crash it? I will again that you don't have good conscience for the country for your comments. Because there was nothing conscienable with all the things you wrote there and you should be as-hamed of yourself and your likes.
