The world will be coming to an end on 21st May 2011, an American preacher from California, Harold Camping, has confidently predicted. He said this will be the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
But in an interview with Joy FM on Friday, an end-time preacher, Rev. Gabriel Ansah, said heaven does not operate by the solar system. He explained that when it is 21st in Ghana, it is 22nd in China. The Bible says in 2Peter.3 that a day on earth to God is thousand years and vice- versa. This means that no one can be mathematically accurate about the 2nd coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, he said.
Rev. Ansah said that he has seen just like other people, bill boards and pages on the internet indicating that 21st of this month is the judgment day. I also saw it a year or so plus ago, he said.
If people can recollect the records of Harold Camping, he predicted the end of the world in 1994 which never occurred, he hinted.
He said biblically, the apocalyptic date setting is prophetically unbiblical, because, Jesus, whom we are all expecting to bring proceedings on the planet to an end said no one knows the date that he, Jesus Christ, will be coming.
He backed his statements with chapters like Mark 24, Luke 21 and 2nd Thesalonian 2:1-3 found in the Holy Bible. Rev. Ansah noted that no one knows better than Jesus Christ and that Jesus will come, but nobody knows the date or time. People who go about date and time of the second coming of the Lord are biblically wrong, he said.
He said biblically, some of the signs which will be seen when the world is indeed coming to an end can be find in the book of Daniel to the book of Revelation, respectively.
