The Commissioner for Human Rights and Administrative Justice, (CHRAJ) Ms Lauretta Vivian Lamptey has stepped down as a board member of Ghana Commercial Bank.
This comes barley a few days after the Chairman of the National Commission of Civic Education (NCCE) Charlotte Osei also resigned from the board of the Ghana Commercial Bank
Ms. Lamptey had come under intense pressure from a civil society group to resign as a board member of GCB since her position has been described as a conflict of interest.
A non-executive director of the bank, her resignation takes immediate effect.
