Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur on Sunday joined the family of former vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama to perform his seventh day adua in Tamale.
Also present was the New Patriotic Party delegation led by its vice Presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Muslim Clergy from all walks of life recited the Quran several folds in honour of the former vice President, Alahji Aliu Mahama.
The seventh day adua will be replicated in Yendi, Alhaji Aliu Mahama�s home town on Thursday.
Sule Salifu of Citi Fm�s partner station in Tamale, North Star Radio, reported: �The vice President is here with government delegation and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is also here with a delegation from the NPP. There are a lot of traditional leaders, Clergy from the Christian community and a delegation from Nigeria led by the Nigerian Ambassador in Ghana.�
The former vice President, Alhaji Aliu Mahama passed at the Cardiothoracic Centre of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital on Friday November 16.
He was buried at his private residence in Kalpohin, Tamale.
