The Police administration has announced that their directive to all its MTTD personnel to suspend motor checks on vehicles is in the best interest of the country because the initiative will ease traffic congestion on the streets ahead of Christmas.
said available data suggests that from October to end of December, the traffic jam our streets of country, especially, the cities, are difficult to contend with, hence, the directive to shift away from the normal documentation and other checks of vehicles.
A leaked Police wireless message signed by COP. Ransford Moses Ninson and circulated to all Police post is directing all MTTD personnel to suspend motor checks in the country with immediate effect.
“MTTD personnel are to be used only for traffic management duties. Regional, Divisional and Unit Commanders are to ensure that no permits are issued for motor check duties”, the internal wireless message in part read.
Arthur further said from now to December, traffic management will be the priority of the Ghana Police Service.
That aside, he said the Police administration has also put in place a special initiative to check motor and other related matters alongside the traffic management directive.
The special initiative, he noted, will not be disclosed to the general public.

This only happen when government and institutions plan rig and stay in power by all means. It's so obvious why they didn't want to work but rather pile cash cos they hv plans to rig and kill ppl who can possibly vote them out.. How can Mahama call him self God fearing man..
THIS COCK AND BULL STORY CAN ONLY BE TOLD TO THE MARINES.WE ARE NOT KIDS IN THIS LAND OF OUR BIRTH. THE GHANA POLICE AND THE MAHAMA GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT TAKE OUR TOLERANCE TO MEAN STUUUPIDITY. THEY CAN CARRY OUT THEIR ARMS SHIPMENT TO WHICH EVER PART OF THE COUNTRY UNDER POLICE COVER BUT WE WILL STILL BOOT THEM OUT.AS WAS IN THE DAYS OF KING BELSHAZZAR (DANIEL 5:25-28)SO SHALL IT BE FOR THE MAHAMA GOVERNMENT: "MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UP-HARSIN"
This pathological liar called Cephas Arthur was so helpless today during his interview with Chairman General. I wonder what he tells his family every morning he leaves home. "I am going to lie ooo" He is not working, he is lying constantly.
The directive is 100% correct..the police only stand on the road to take money or beg private drivers for money without checking anything, to me its nuisance on the road. There are more security treat out there than they standing by the road side to extort money just in the name of checking licence..u can't do this in any serious nation. Come to Tarkwa Bogoso junction or any other check point and see how they (MTTU) make money .. inclduing the Night Police Patrol stationed at Bogosu Junction in Tarkwa. Anas Aremeyaw should or any serious person should come and monitor them. Thank you Cephas Arthur
you think we are kids. God is watching. idiooooots

What should be done to Policemen on duty who engage in such acts especially the Nungua Police Barrier. Very soon I will try and take snap shots of 2 particular Policemen who are fund of harassing motorists even though they have valid documents in the night.
