National Petroleum Authority (NPA) CEO Moses Asaga has been sacked by President Nana Akufo-Addo. He has been replaced by legal practitioner Hassan Tampuli as caretaker CEO until a substantive CEO is appointed, according to a letter dated 26 January and signed by Energy Minister-designate Boakye Agyarko.
“As a care-taker CEO, you will not take decisions that have policy implications until a substantive governing board is in place,” the letter noted.
"You may refer such policy-related decisions to the Ministry for prior approval," the letter noted.
