Young men in Ghana are finding it difficult to marry these days because there is no money in the system, coupled with so much hardship under the Mahama administration, Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong has said.
According to the opposition legislator, President John Mahama “had the opportunity to change this country, but what do we see today?” He has, therefore, urged the electorate to vote Mr Mahama out in the 7 December elections.
“Now many of you young men can’t marry because there is no money in the system and the young ladies are also suffering,” Mr Agyapong said when he addressed party supporters in Lawra in the Upper West Region at the weekend during the campaign launch of the NPP’s parliamentary nominee for the area, Mr Anthony Karbo.
“So, I beg you, the tribal politics will not help us. At the end of the day, it’s what comes into your pocket. At the end of the day, it’s the job that you can get; at the end of the day, it’s a question of affordability so that you can also have purchasing power and marry.
According to Mr Agyapong, if the rich in Ghana do not fight on behalf of the poor, a time will come that the French Revolution will happen in Ghana, thus, his continuous fight for the poor.
