PeaceFM's ‘Kokrokoo’ Production team and Peacefmonline.com a few days ago, started following up on the 123 Community Senior High Schools said to have been constructed by the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).
So far, our team of seasoned correspondents have been able to cover 9 out of the 10 regions in the country, and the evidence on the ground shows of that 123 school projects, only a small number of them have been completed. Majority of the schools have taken off while a few are yet to see the light of day.
On Wednesday, October 19th, we covered the final region; Brong Ahafo. There are 16 schools on the list, but interestingly out of that number, only 3 have been completed.

teddy your party NDC is more desperate than the NPP. i cant imagine a party in power which claimed they have made Ghana heaven and campaigning more than any other party to deceive people. you call these uncompleted building schools. they said all the reckless borrowing has been invested in the infrastructure and this is what they have to show for after taking more loans like they are maaaaad.
Poor NPP !! All they wanted to hear was that the whole concept of building 200 SHS blocks across the country has collapsed. As we speak now, close to 40 school blocks would ready for use or occupation. What baffles me at times is that this party never learns. They adopted similar campaign in the 2012 elections and lost miserably. Poorer NPP, their campaigns are done on radio, television, newspapers and on the internet. They have started jubilating simply because EIU and Fitch Int. have predicted victory for NPP. Their Communications Dir. is always in Accra studious of Peace fm and Metro Tv crossing his legs and talking as if 2016 elections results have been handed over to them. Infact they are going to lose big time and miserably. The writing is clearly on the wall for them see. This Party.
Buildings don't educate people, people educate people. The education system in Ghana is still poor dispite all these buildings. The same issue with Ghana's economy and taking loans to build buildings. Rather invest the money in the people and develop our natural resources. Clueless ndc
I think the initiative is laudable. That is all I can say. If every past government were to initiate these type of projects such that more people can get secondary education, our country would have been a better place to live in by now. Illiteracy would have been halved. Human development index would have been up.
good job done by mahama what a great job i m very happy to see dat my region has also benifited from those projets i m very happy as for npp and their boughtjurnalist i wish dem well wat i haf seen is a clear mifestation dat mahama is working
Kofi, the issue was to build 200 at the end of four years and not o commission about 11 and say the rest are at various stages of completion. Once u lay a single block, it is at a stage of completion.
If that is the case, then it will always be the mantra. this will allow politicians to touch things and hide under that mantra. It will hinder growth. We should not use phrases to hide our incompetencies
they are at various stages of completion, is this what the npp cronies cant interpret?. they would understand "the bottle is half empty" but would not understand the phrase " the bottle is half full". hypocrites

Lets be truthful for once in this country, Mahama has so far done a lot and deserve another term.

ndc and liars, they are like twins.one can not separate them.
You are the hypocrite, because you know NDC is lying and you will still defend them. You promised 200 schools, how many are you able to build?
