Sacked parliamentary candidate of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the North Tongu Constituency of the Volta Region, Christopher Kofi Eleblu says he will shock incumbent Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa as an independent candidate.
“By the grace of God the seat will be taken from Hon Ablakwa on the 7th of December 2016. He will not exceed 20% of votes,” he assured.
Adding that – “Hon Ablakwa has done nothing for the people in North Tongu constituency.”
The Ex-Director of Internal Audit at the Ministry of Health (MoH), Mr. Eleblu accused Ablakwa of masterminding his disqualification to contest the North Tongu seat on the ticket of the NDC – this he said led him to go independent to snatch the seat from the NDC.
Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, Mr. C.K Eleblu who has been sacked by the NDC for going independent according to their constitution said – “That will affect the party massively.”

I come from Juapong and I can tell Eleblu that, Ablakwa brought more developments to North Tongu than any other MP we have ever had. He will win by 80%. Eleblu will not get more than 3000 votes.
You will all loose and stay in opposition.
My SEDATCO mate, you go win. CK Eleblu all the way. Congrats in advance.
I want to know if those commenting here against Mr Eleblu are human beings or an*mals? He is doing his constitutional right and if that hurts you go burn the ocean.Ablakwah is a thi*f and a disgrace to his people and must be changed.
I can assure elebu that he will not get more than 10% of the total votes cast.
Wins hands up not hands down. Gyimigyimi
Master, you have never stood for any election in Ghana. For the fact that people follow you when you go campaigning doesn't mean you will win elections. you are very young n politics despite your grey hair. you will loose. mark it
