Hundreds of NDC Party supporters at Abooso in the Western Region ambusehd the Vice President Kwesi Amissah- Arthur on Tuesday night when he was passing through to attend a rally at Tarkwa on his day one visit as part of his four day visit to the Western Region to campaign.
The party supporters who were in their hundred said they heard that the Vice president was in the area but Aboso was part of it, so they decided to stop him in order for him to address them.
This they said was done because they wanted to say thank him for the numerous infrastructure developments that have gone on in the area.
Interestingly, Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur who believes in the touching base agenda, took notice of the party supporters and stopped to address them and explain to them why they need to vote for President Mahama once again for continuity.
They wore t-shirts and other NDC party paraphernalia, danced and sang to welcome the Vice President.
The Vice President in his address, called on them to give President Mahama another term for continuity and the need to encourage other people to vote for the NDC because it’s a party for the people and a development oriented party.
He said continuity is key so the need for them to go to house to house, window to window and spread the good massage to their people in order for President Mahama to win and continue his good works.

U see I wonder what is wrong with those who support npp. Is it that they can't see or they are completely arrogant to accept the truth that JM is the Nkrumah of our time. Nkrumah who U.P(Npp) leaders chastised and claim he did nothing. That has always been their nature of hypocrisy.
Sometimes you dont need to look too far to see the truth. Go back to the story and see the pictures. You see how dirty the V8 cars are? The cars are practically covered in thick mud due to the bad nature of the roads. Is this what the people are cheering for? Oh Ghana wise up ohhhh wise up. You ride in rickety vehicles on bad roads and bother to go and wait in the evening to cheer these insensitive people on. Tweaaa. Change will happen.
THE PRESIDENT HAS DONE A LOT AND NEEDS TO BE APPRECIATED WITH A SECOND TERM. I KNOW HE WILL TACKLE THE NEXT MAJOR CONCERNS OF GHANAIANS, THUS JOBS, IN HIS NEXT TENURE OF OFFICE. HONESTLY, WE SHOULD AT LEAST GIVE CREDENCE WHERE IT IS DUE. MAYBE A FEW BAD NUTS IN THE TEAM NEED TO BE LOOKED AT. UNTIL THEN, IT'S "JM TOASOOO"
A government working for the people indeed. Nurses are on strike. OPD's are deserted. Children are dying. President, Vice President, Chief of Staff are all out campaigning. We are not naive!!!!
Ignorantly urging an incompetent vice president to stay in power and enrich himself whiles you suffer. Sad, isn't it?
u will see the shock laggar very soon Mr VERY SOON
NDC do not know the extent of the anger on the streets. They have impoverished many families. As for crowd, a president or Vice President will always pull crowd because people want to see. Wait and see the tsunami on dec 7.
Keep day dreaming wai till dey give u the shock of ur life coming dec 7
