First Vice Chairman of the NPP in the Central Region, Joe Donkor has described the EC boss’s recent conduct as disgraceful.
According to him, the chairperson of the Electoral Commission [EC], Charlotte Osei has disgraced herself based on the previous decision she took in disqualifying some presidential aspirants on the 10th of October, but has to bring them back on the ballot paper after being ordered by the Supreme Court to give them a second chance to make corrections.
He said this shows that the EC is not applying its own laws or that of the state, because the apex court of the land would not have ordered them to give the aspirants a chance to correct their mistakes.
"Actions by the EC boss would block chances of female persons who would want to hold public positions…,” he said.
Speaking on UTV’s Thursday edition, Joe Donkor challenged that “President Mahama would not attain more than 35% of the presidential total ballots . . . now that the other 3 disqualified political parties have been added.”
“The NDC together with the EC connived to disqualify those presidential candidates, with the perception of them causing harm to the number of votes coming to the side of the NDC,” Joe Donkor told Lawyer Tweneboah Koduah.
The EC before the Supreme Court’s verdict disqualified thirteen presidential aspirants from contesting in the 2016 elections for various errors detected in their forms.

NPP people are always thinking of how NDC will be terminated. Keep dreaming.
hahha this man is funny. who told you the people who will be voting for NDC do not know the symbol and the General Man, Jm's Photo aah dont talk like that again. it will rather reduce your votes because all those parties want change as NPP SO KEEP DREAMING.
It is simple as abcd that, institution or organizational body would accept improper documents to their office. Not even the political parties themselves would accept that in their offices so why should EC accept that? simple logic. If EC is wrong then why didn't the supreme ordered the EC to accept their forms straight away but rather ordered them to come back and correct their errors? this means that, the court itself accepted that, yes indeed there was flaws in their forms. So where has the EC breach his laws? lets gets it right rather trying to be hash towards the EC.
This is how fuulls always talk. You claim you want to win one touch, but you think NDP, CPP, PPP and PNC will spoil NDC votes. Keep dreaming. You would be surprised to find Npp votes rather shrink dramatically. In any case who will vote for nana konadu, ndoum, Edward mahama. Maybe ivor may have some reasonable votes. All these votes are likely to go against Npp and not Ndc. If I were you, I will be crying by now instead being upbeat about Ndc votes reducing. Stoupid calculations with any basis.
BARAWO MAHAMA HAS NO GBEWA TO CALL HIS VIOLENT MINISTERS AND FOOLSOLDIERS TO ORDER BECOS THAT IS PART OF THE PLAN TO RIG THE ELECTIONS. WITH HELP FROM BRIBED CHARLOTTE OSEI NDC PLANS TO SNATCH BALLOT BOXES, FILL THEM WITH THEIR ALREADY-THUMBPRINTED BALLOTS, BEAT UP AND ATTACK THEIR POLITICAL OPPONENTS SO THAT PEOPLE WILL BE SCARED TO GO OUT AND VOTE. BUT THEY LIE BAD! INSHA ALLAHU GHANA PEOPLE WILL FACE NDC BOOT FOR BOOT AND KICK OUT BARAWO MAHAMA AND HIS GANG OF KILAS OUT.
I am NPP Supporter but do not agree with this Clinton like deductions. We should go back to volta/Northern / upper regions and promise good money for them eg like what the NDC are doing 30000eor each district that they win the majority.
These are the people who want to be in power. A class 1 child wouldn't do such an analysis. You and your party including Martin Amidu have lost this analogue completely. We in the NDC are happy these parties are back expecially the PPP. Other parties which could be seen as pro-NDC such as APC are not in the race hence a good news for the NDC It's "us" and "them". "Them" will share the opposition vote and us will take the winning votes for JM to toaso. #3
What kind of warped reasoning is this. Its in NPPs interest to have as few other parties as possible. This is rather an advantage to NDC.
Everything can be explained to favor NPP. Let us just wait for the d-day then we shall see which theories have substance. Till then I advise NDC not to leave any stone unturned.
ANY CREDIBLE OBSERVER KNOWS THAT BASICALLY ALL OTHER PARTIES ARE OPPOSED TO THE NDC SO HAD THEY NOT BEEN ACCEPTED ONTO THE BALLOT, THEY WILL ALL BE VOTING AGAINST THE NDC ANYWAY. SO HOW CAN THEY BE NDC PEOPLE IN THE FIRST PLACE FOR THE NDC TO SUFFER? SIMPLE LOGIC.
